At the International CES in Las Vegas this January projectiondesign partnered with 3 other manufacturers to present a high fidelity AV experience in one of the luxury suites at the Venetian Hotel. Electronics were provided by ADA, speakers by RBH and the screen by Screen Innovations. The image we were able to show was nothing short of remarkable, making use of the new avielo optix SuperWide 235. Attendees and press alike were impressed by our new approach to creating a 2.35:1 image without the use of an external anamorphic lens system. We were able to demonstrate a more detailed and geometrically perfect result with a pixel resolution of up to 1080 x 2560. This provided at least 1/3 more detail in the image when compared to other designs shown at CES utilizing a conventional anamorphic lens while eliminating any challenges from throw ratios or geometric distortions.
